ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!!
Matt is. He was asleep for the first week of the NFL season but he was asking about the Saints last night so I know he's ready for today.
We brought his Fujita jersey today for the game (unfortunately, it is not on TV here, the local Fox station is carrying the Redskins game). Noel will keep him updated with the computer.
We got a big thumbs up last night when we told him that Washington beat USC (he gets that from his mother). Lets see, Washington beat USC, LSU beat Washington so that means .....
Matt had a pretty good night last night. Trach cleaning is an adventure. He doesn't like it very much but he doesn't have to like it, he just has to do it.
Matt will have his 3rd dose of Etoposide tonight then it will be on the "rescue" drug for 10 days or until his blood counts are right. He will then be in the rest phase until cycle 2 starts in 19 days.
I am leaving Baltimore in a few hours to go home for a few weeks but my Mom is here with Noel. Noel will take over most of the blogging since she is here on the scene. I will probably help some from home.
