Morning

Matt had a rough night in the PICU. He was "combative" during his trach care so he had to be restrained. This news did not sit well with me. As soon as I got up here I began convincing the day nurse that he is not combative just scared. I let her know that if you just open his eye and explain what you are about to do, he can be very cooperative. I slowly convinced her to take the restraints off his arms.

We have not seen any doctors yet. Therefore, I have no idea how long they expect him to have to be in the PICU.

I will post more later today as I get new information.

  1. Ahhhh... Oh My Gosh...Noel... I'm so sorry to hear that. I know you that must have broken your heart. Hopefully, a one time misunderstanding. Well, extra prayers Noel coming your way. Stay strong. I cannot imagine how difficult it must be for you after all this time. You'll soon be home, in your own bed, in your own house for the duration of Matt's recovery. Until then...I hope it comforts you just a little to know that so many are lifting you up in their prayers. I know I am.
    Love you
