Set Back

Matt had a set back tonight. His blood oxygen levels occasionally drop and they are trying to figure out why. They sent him for a CAT scan to see if there is a clot in his lungs but they couldn't do it because his O2 levels dropped when they laid him on the CAT scan table. The doctor thinks it may be that his lungs are partially deflated from being bedridden for so long.

They have adjusted his ventilator to help re-inflate his lungs and bring up his O2 levels. They are going to try the CAT scan again later tonight and/or tomorrow when they feel he is more stable.

We'll post results when we get them.
