We just met with Matt's Neurosurgeon, Dr. Olivi, to sign the consent for his surgery. The surgery is supposed to start at 2 pm (eastern time) and take 2 - 3 hours. We'll update the blog with whatever results we get. Dr. Olivi sounds like the right guy for the job (see link below - you'll have to copy it into your browser).
Dr. Olivi thinks that the tumor in the spine is related to what's going on in his brain and once we know what it is, we can come up with a treatment.
Matt had a good night and so did we.
