Not much news today. Matt just got back from another MRI (the one he was supposed to have yesterday)and we're waiting to go see him for the 5 - 8 pm visiting hours.
Noel made brownies for his nurse today because it's her birthday. Raise your hand if that surprises you.
Grant Gremillion visited us today. He got to see Matt before the MRI and then we had lunch and brought him back to the airport. He is on his way home now. Grant also brought Matt's senior ring to us for him (see story below). Matt actually grabbed Grant's hand while he was visiting him. It was very nice to see a familiar face today!!
Katie Majeste made Matt a Saints blanket and Grant brought that too. We will post pictures as soon as we can. We're having a little trouble with Matt's computer and my work computer only connects to the Internet at the hospital so posting may be slow over the next couple of days.
Matt's Ring Story
Matt lost his Bonnabel Class of 09 ring about 6 months ago. About a month ago, we loaned Matt's car to Noel's brother, Chuck, to use because one of their cars died. Over the weekend, Chuck found Matt's ring while cleaning the Trailblazer. He got it to Grant who brought it to us today. We were able to tell Matt about the ring being found before they put him to sleep back on Sunday so he knows about it.

I have been praying and hoping for Matthew. I feel relieved that things are being done and we are learning more information. I just back into town and will call you guys tomorrow. Dr. Jones
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to hear Matt seems to be doing very well and I like that he grabbed Grants hand. Lift up the doctors and nurses with out them none of this could be. Thanks be to GOD and HiS GLORY.
