We're Here

Well, we all made it to JH. Matt is in the Meyer Building, Room 923 (If you want to come visit :-) ). This whole building is dedicated to neurology!! We are also checked into our townhouse which is about a block away.

One problem with this room is that there is no "Mom bed" in it so Noel is going to have to sleep in the townhouse. They said that they can bring in a cot to the room but the room is fairly small and I'm sure the cot would not be any fun to sleep on. We talked to Matt about this arrangement and he is OK with it for now.

Matt did pretty well on the trip although there was some concern about his breathing/secretions and heart rate when he first got here. That's all settled down now and I think it was a combination of the travel and the JH folks' unfamiliarity with Matt's case.

We met Dr. McArthur who is his attending physician. There is also a gaggle of various residents involved. They are getting up to speed on his case and we are going to talk tomorrow about his treatment options.
