Chillin with Matt watching Pitt vs. Rutgers.
Matt has produced extra large amounts of mucus since this afternoon and they are worried that he has an infection. They took blood and mucus cultures which are negative so far. His temp was a little elevated earlier (~ 100) but is back down now. His heart was doing some weird stuff earlier (bigemeny, trigemeny, PVCs) but as soon as they hooked him up to the portable EGK, everything looked normal and has ever since. Just like a dog... they won't do tricks when other people are watching.
Matt is planning to get up early to catch the Aston Villa vs. Chelsea soccer game.
Foot Rubs
Matt is kind of sneaky. I gave him a foot rub earlier. Then, while I was gone, he conned one of the student nurses into giving him one. Just now, he tried to get his nurse, JD, to give him one. I think that boy is addicted to foot rubs. Oh well, I guess I know what I'll be doing for the next few minutes.
