A little sadness around here right now ....

I just dropped Noel off at BWI for her trip home. She is sad to go but I hope she will find rest for a few days. Please pray for her, and me and Matt here in good ole Charm City.

Matt had a difficult night and didn't sleep much. When we got here this morning, he had some nausea along with those darn hiccups again although they don't sound like hiccups with the trach. They gave him some medicine for both and he is doing fine now. When I got back to his room, he was busily playing Burger Island on his computer (with the volume extremely loud).

We're waiting for the NFL to start and are going to watch the Ravens beat up on the Bengals. We're going to cheer for the Ravens for several reasons:

1. We temporarily live in Baltimore
2. The Ravens are an AFC team that won't play the Saints unless they both go to the Superbowl.
3. The Saints aren't playing this week

They just filled Matt's feedbag and they changed him while I was gone so we're good to go for the game.

Matt's labs from this morning looked good. We don't really expect the effects from the new round of chemo to hit for a few more days.
