Matt had an OK night with large amounts of secretions being his main problem. He did manage to get some quality sleep last night and was sleeping when Noel and I got here this morning.
They're doing his trach care now which is always exciting.
It was nice sleeping with my sweetie last night.
Matt was also successful in scamming several foot rubs from the nurses during the night. I think he's using Noel's chocolate fleur-de-lis to bribe them.
Katrina Flashback
Yesterday, on the way to get Noel at the airport, I stopped at the RMD House. They were supposed to have 100 motorcyclists there on a fund raising ride for the RMD. Well, the picture shows what I saw... no bikes and a bunch of Servicemaster trucks. It turns out that a pipe in one of the second floor rooms broke, flooding two rooms on the second floor and a bunch of the first floor. Those Servicemaster guys did a great job getting things cleaned up fast. The missing sheetrock and air blowers brought me back to 4 years ago at home.
