As you can see from the previous post Matt had a Special message for David and his cousin Heather. Happy Birthday to both of you!
Matt worked out hard with the dynamic duo today. They had him do some exercises in his bed then walk around in the room. After they walked he got on the scale and got a weight. Once they were finished with that Holly and Francesca had brought in an exercise ball to challenge Matt's reaching ability. This worked very well. By the time he finished he was tired. But that didn't stop the Burger Island progress.
I guess Matt is tired of Burger Island, finally, because this afternoon he asked me to buy him two new computer games. Now he will be obsessed with Burger Shop and Burger Shop 2. The only problem with this is that right now he can only play them on my new laptop. That's right, I gave up my laptop and am using his old one. No, David not for good.
The doctors here are quite pleased with Matt's progress, they are talking more about the possibility of going back to New Orleans some time next week. This makes both Matt and I very happy. He will go from here at Johns-Hopkins to Children's Hospital in New Orleans. I am still waiting to hear from the insurance representative about coverage of benefits. Please continue to pray. We realize if it doesn't happen this next week we will be here through round three of chemo.
