Friday Post

As I said earlier, they did not do the MRI today. We are still looking at having it done on Tuesday.

Matt's blood counts look better today. Looks like we are on the up swing. Thankfully this makes it easier to attempt the possible move back to New Orleans by the end on next week.

Round three of chemo should start next Friday. The plan is to try the move before round three begins.

Matt worked really hard for the dynamic duo today. He walked about thirty eight feet on his first walk today. Then he rested by the window and played on his computer. Next he walked about 15 feet, weighed, then sat in the bed.

Knowing he was tired, Nana and I thought he would take a nap. NOT, he got on my computer and played Burger Shop for about three hours. He finally took about a thirty minute nap. At this point, he had his trach care done.

So far, the wound dressing has been fine. We had two close calls today. Lets hope it continues this way. I know this has to be more comfortable for Matt.

Matt is looking forward to a busy football weekend. LSU verses Auburn on Saturday, for which Matt will be wearing his new head attire (thanks Costa family). Then the SAINTS verses the Dolphins on Sunday. Lets hope both are good games with winning outcomes.
