It is the morning before Christmas here at the hospital. Matt is still having trouble with nasal secretions, especially at night. He has needed either John or I to stay with him these past few nights. When asked why he needed us he responded, "I need to be comforted when I am having these fits (as he calls them) and you and Dad provide it." Needless to say, we took turns staying. The doctors are hopeful that this issue will resolve in a day or two.
Preliminary results from the spinal tap performed on Tuesday, there is no sign of germinoma cells in the spinal fluid. This is a definite answer to prayer. Thanks to all who have been praying and please continue to pray for Matt's total healing.
Thanks to all who have been by to visit and pray for Matt. It has really been great to see his face when he gets a visit.
