Well, I decided to post this before the SAINTS game so that the news wouldn't get lost. When Dr. Valez came in today she said that Matt is doing the best she has seen since he got to Children's Hospital. She let us know that she was taking Matt off of most of the antibiotics that he was on for so long. She also confirmed that she has ordered chemo to start tomorrow. All good news!
To order the correct dosage of chemo, they needed to get a current weight. This was done by the nurse. The news is also just as good. Matt now weighs 52.9k. This translates to about 116.3 lbs.
We know this is just the start of the good news for Matt today. We know the SAINTS will keep the good mood going in this room!
