Wednesday Evening

The neurology team came and examined Matt. The results confirmed our worst fears about the condition of his brain. He did not respond at all to any of the stimulus that they did. They also did an EEG which did not offer any encouragement. Bottom line is that Matt has serious brain damage that he will likely not recover from. Barring a miracle in the next day or so, our family is going to have a very difficult decision to make. Please pray for us and continue to pray that God will perform a miracle for Matt.

  13. If I could tell Matt anything right now it would be that God does have his back, and that he's one of the strongest people I know and so brave with going though everything he has so far.

Bertucci's, you're a strong family to go though what you have gone though so far, and with all of the support and prayers from your friends just never feel as if you're alone. God has a plan for all of us, he gives us strength when we are weak. Just keep praying, The Lord will tell you what to do.

  20. Our thoughts & prayers are with y'all in this difficult time. We pray that God's Will be done and that His peace that passes all understanding will be with y'all through the process. Matt has & continues to impact those around him. He is a testament to what good family ties can bring out in anybody. What an awesome legacy the Bertucci Clan is passing on to those around them. Thanks for bringing heaven to our earth even in the midst of your trials. We love Y'all... Melanie L.
