I talked to Noel and Matt is sort of getting used to the PICU room. They don't like it and want to get back to a regular room ASAP but are resigned to the situation they're in.
Matt had PT today and did well. He also sat up in the bed on his own before the PT person got there. They are removing his central line today because of some sort of problem with it and are eventually going to put in a new PIC line.
He wants Noel to stay tonight but there is no bed in the room, only a very uncomfortable chair. There may be an opportunity for her to sleep in an area on the pediatric oncology floor where he was before. That way, she can just run down one floor to his room if he needs her.
It's going to be a hard few days for them so please pray that Matt gets back in a regular room soon.
Good thing it's not "No Cry Wednesday"

Just so you know, we are over here, still checking the blog every few hours, still praying, still feeling and yet feeling kind of helpless. I just don't know what I could offer to do that would help any. Though about cooking for John, David and Elizabeth, but..well...I second guessed myself so many times as to what to fix, that the day just seemed to get away from me..ha ah ha. But, nonetheless, we are here, anything that we can do, we are just more than willing.
