I just got off the phone with Noel. They were headed back to RMD House after a long day at the hospital with Matt.
Some good things happened today as Noel mentioned in her post.
He tolerated his trach cleaning very well and the amount of mucus that he is putting out thru the trach has gotten smaller.
He is a little nauseous, which probably means that the chemo drugs are working.
What's most encouraging to me is that his attitude, especially about his PT has changed. He actually wants to sit up. IN A CHAIR!!! He hasn't WANTED to do that in a couple of months. I think that he now sees the PT as an important part of his recovery. He also sees a clear path to overall recovery and wants to do everything in his power to help himself. This is huge and an answer to prayer.
