A Heaping Helping of Waiting

Sorry for the lack of posts today but there's not much news.

We are basically in a holding pattern waiting on the pathology results from the tumor that they removed last night. All of the possible paths of action depend on what they see in the results.

Matt did move his left leg last night and today, which is a good sign. He has to remain flat on his back at least until tomorrow night because of the surgery. This means that he will stay intibated and sedated until at least Thursday morning. After that it (you guessed it) depends on the pathology results.

We are happy to be here and at the results so far but the waiting is killing us!

  1. Hi guys,
I read the info on Dr. Olivi. Sounds like Matt couldn't be in better hands. I asked for prayers from our families and you've got them comming from EVERY WHERE: Delaware, Georgia, Pennsylvania and even JAPAN! Do you remember meeting my sister Barbie? She and my brother Bill visited us in N.O. They were in music misistry. Now she and her husband and daughters are ministering in Japan. They are with the Vinyard church there. We've had promises of prayers from prayer groups here and there and in between. Have a good night.
    love ya,
    Kate

  2. Knowing that y'all have a loving family and such a huge support system is, I am sure, an emotional boost for Matt and for y'all. I pray everyday for his recovery.
