Saturday Morning

I just dropped Lolly off at the airport. She should be home in a few hours. Matt was up a lot last night (Noel too). He got his first dose of chemo last night and seems to be doing well so far, side effect wise.

My mom comes in later this afternoon.

  1. If any of you would like to light a candle for Matthew, you can go to www.gratefulness.org and light a candle each day for him. The candles need to be renewed every 48 hrs. You might want to start and end your day with a prayer and light a candle for Matthew.

  2. Very glad to hear that the treatment has begun. We think about all of you everyday, almost hourly, and everytime we do, we pray for healing and for strengh and peace and that God's grace is sufficient. Please tell Matthew that we are anxiously awaiting the day that he is able to come home to his own house and his own bed to continue his recovery.
    We love you all!
Love Gina and George, Jordan and Amanda too.....

  3. I just love to hear how wonderful The Ronald Mcdonald House is and how they are treating you. It is the biggest charity that Southwest Airlines supports. We have a couple of nights per year where the local SWA employees go the house here and cook meals, visit with parents and kids. The same is done system wide and has been one of our very favorite charities, contributing millions of dollars over the past 35 years. I am so happy that you guys are there!
Again, always thinking about you John Noel and Matt...Elizabeth and David too. It sure looks like God has already answered a lot of prayers. We have no doubt that He will continue to see Matthew through this as well as give you all the strength and encouragement that you need to do the same.
    As always.... much love.....
    Gina, George, Jordan and Amanda
