Matt slept well last night. They did give him two units of platelets and one unit of blood over night. This morning his counts showed that he needed one more unit of blood. Doctor Cohen said that things were looking a little better today. His tube feeds have begun at a low level. They will do a study later to make sure Matt is absorbing the formula he is being given.
Matt was thrilled when he saw the shirt he received from Uncle Mike and Aunt Mary and Melissa and Mark Jones. Thank you very much for the Chelsea Soccer jersey. Matt loved it when he saw it in the package. When Nana opened it and showed him the back the reaction was even better. Too bad I didn't catch that look with the camera.
I am slowly trying to get him shaved. Not the kind of shaving I am used to. I am getting a little better with each try.
