Matt just finished getting his second dressing change. The nurse also convinced the doctors that at this time we should try to place the rectal tube again. This will help keep Matt from having to have the wound dressing changed as often. The doctors also gave orders for a diarrhea medicine. This will help even more. We are having a wonderful visit with Andrew. Tonight, he and I will go to get some seafood. Matt has started losing his hair. We totally expected this at this time.
I am still enjoying the fruit from the Edible Arrangement we were sent ffrom the staff of Patrick Taylor Science and Technology Academy. Thanks all!
Matt's nurse today, Kara and the student nurse, Heather have done an amazing job caring for Matt. They were even sympathetic when he got frustrated before the last dressing change. Kara even rubbed his back some for him.
