It was sad to see Nana leave this morning but Matt was glad to see me (Andrew Majeste). The nurses got Matt set up for the day and then Aunt Noel left to bring Nana to the air port. Before Nana left we prayed over Matt, which I believe really encouraged him. Matt and I began to communicate via "the White Board" and I told him that many people all acroos this country are praying for him! I then asked him if he wanted to listen to some worship music. He immediatly gave me the "thumbs up" which means yes. I gave him my head phones and he began to rest in the fathers arms and worship. He laid there for 20 mins listening to the worship music. After that I began to tell him the encouragement that people had been sending me via text and facebook. It really motivated him. After that he began to play a game on the computer; enjoying one anothers company. The nurses came and cleaned the trach and did a very good job of cleaning in and around the area. The nurses then asked me to put on a mask because I coughed a few times just to be safe. When Aunt Noel got back she informed me of a surprise that her and Nana bought me. She brought me to the kitchen and handed me hummas and pretzel chips (which is my favorite food.) Matthew is having a good day. Pray that it only continues to get better.

Hey Andrew, good to see you posting here :) but I have to "correct" your post: many people are praying for Matt, not just across your country, but also here in Europe (well at least I can give you Italy and Germany)! Don't forget that ;)
ReplyDeletehugs to everyone, amrei
