Matt - I am so proud of you

Ladies, get out your tissues.....

Matt,

I was thinking this evening about all that you've been through and how you've handled it. I have to say that words can't express how proud I am of you. You have taken something that would have brought much more mature men to their emotional knees and triumphed. Throughout this whole ordeal (which is not over yet), you have not whined, cried or taken a "woe is me" attitude. You have persevered and kept your faith.

You have also treated other people with grace and kindness. I could fill pages with the many examples of when you have thought of others first even as you lay in bed sick. It's no wonder that all the nurses, doctors, therapists, etc. love you. They just can't help it because of the way you are.

I know that you trusted God going into this but you have also taken that trust up a level or two. This trust has been a witness to all of the people who have met you.

You have truly worked like it all depends on you and prayed like it all depends on God.

I love you,

Dad

The Lord your God is with you Matt. He takes great delight in you, he quiets you with his love, he rejoices over you with singing.
He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you.
He will sustain you and rescue you.
He will strengthen you and help you.
He is your hiding place and surrounds you with songs of deliverance. HE thinks you are awesome too!!!!
