Today Matt has been a little tired. When Holly and Joan arrived he was tired but ready to work. He worked first doing his arm exercises in the bed. Then he got in the wheelchair and got his splints and shoes on with help. He then moved to the window and as the new video shows, walked from the window out to the hall and past the nurses station. Yes, I took the video and cried. (I know, no one is surprised) In my defense, a couple of nurses were crying too. By the way, WAY TO GO FRANCESCA! I knew you would do a great job in the marathon!
The process of trying to get approval for a medical flight home has begun. We are waiting for word at this point. Hopefully we will be back in New Orleans by the end of the week.
