Matt stood up during therapy. After I got the picture, I was so proud that I cried. (Any one surprised?) He then sat in the wheel chair for fifteen minutes. Shortly after they got him back into the bed, Andrew left to go back home. Matt really enjoyed spending time with Andrew.

This afternoon, I spoke with Dr. Cohen. He let me know that the serum HCG test that was run last week showed lower HCG levels than the original one. This tells us that the chemo is working.

I am looking forward to seeing John, Lizzy and David this Friday. I have not yet told Matt. I am going to try to get a picture of his reaction when they come through the door of the hospital room.

  1. Oh, I love surprises! I cannot wait to see Matt's expression when he sees Elizabeth and David walk into his room! What a great idea Noel!
And what great news about the chemo working already! I think that the road to recovery has begun for sure and that each day will show new improvements. We are already thanking God for Matt's continued progress. Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday! I'm sure that it's going to be bitter sweet for you Noel, but you truly need the break and the rest.
    Love,
    Gina

Just catching up on your progress Matt. Good news
all around!!!! How exciting that the whole family can be together this week-end.
We are continuing to watch with you in prayer, wait with you in prayer to see God's kingdom prevail, persevere in prayer with you, believe with you in prayer, and expect in prayer that God's will will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We continue to "stand in the gap" as intercessors for you ALL. You can be sure that our heavenly Father knows your name and hears it ALOT....cuz, we keep calling it out to Him over, and over, and over again.
Matt, relax in His arms because He loves you bunches!!!!
