GREAT NEWS!!! Matt was able to hear the and recognize the voices of John and Lolly on the speaker phone today. He was able to heaqr Mee Maw and Paw Paw on the phone but couldn't tell whose voices they were. This is a major improvement from before when he couldn't even hear the voices on speaker phone. I am so excited. This is continued proof that Matt is improving neurologically. He can also hear people here when they speak lower.
On the blood count front, They are giving Matt two units of blood because his hemoglobin count was low today. This was expected. The mucus production was less during the day today. We will see how he does during the night.
After such a productive day, I am hopeful that he will sleep well tonight.

Praise God!!! We continue to follow your progress Matt and are excited that you can hear again! Full and complete restoration is what we're believing God for.
