Tuesday Morning

When Nana and I came in this morning, Matt was barely awake. We went right to work changing his wet diapers, suctioning his trach. Respiratory has been in to do an assessment already. They will come back later to change his trach. I have started letting his nurses know that I don't want them to feel like they have to give him foot rubs when he asks for them. That is my job and I am going to make him work for them. Doing PT exercises with his feet. I feel the nurses have enough to do without giving foot rubs to my spoiled little man.
