So far I have NOT cried too much. The PIC line is in place. Dr. Cohen came by and let me know that the MRI looked as we had expected. Improvement! Matt did not want to walk with the dynamic duo today. This did not make Francesca happy since she had not seen him walk in the hall yet. But he is very tired today. The nurses are enjoying the brownies and cake that I baked last night while I waited for John to arrive.
The tears will be flowing later but, I will try to remember to get pictures this time when we get on the plane. To repeat what John said earlier, we truly believe that the doctors and staff here at Johns Hopkins have saved Matt's life. Thanks just doesn't seem to be enough.
I am looking forward to being home this evening. Hopefully I will be sleeping in my own bed with my temperpedic mattress by the weekend. Thanks to all who have prayed for Matt through all of this. Please continue to pray for his continued healing.
