Tuesday Evening

Matt had a bunch of visitors today, one of them unwanted...

Matt, Joe and Lori Guichard came by and brought Matt a personalized Saints towel (see photo). Also visiting were Mary Bertucci (Aunt Mary), Brian Jeansonne, Ann Majeste (John's Sister), Cissy Yakelis (Clayton's Sister) and Brenna Gourget. Unfortunately, Matt was having a lot of coughing fits and other medical problems at the time all of these folks visited. We pretty much had time only for some prayer and then they had to leave. Matt did tell me later that he appreciated everyone who came to see him.

Now for that unwelcome visitor. Matt has another case of pneumonia. We don't know what the cause is but they are treating him with about 6 different antibiotics. He is going to get some special testing done tomorrow and we are confident that we'll get through this. The only good thing is that the pneumonia is probably what's been causing his coughing fits. They are giving him medicine to sedate him a little and this is helping with the coughing fits. Hopefully, Noel will get some sleep tonight at the hospital.
