Matt had a few special visitors just now. First, Colonal Nowak from Bonnabel's ROTC came by to see Matt and say hi!
A short time later, Matt was very excited to be visited by three New Orleans SAINTS players. He was happy to meet, Pierson Prioleau (31), Chris Reis (39), and Nick Leckey (60). They were interested in all of Matt's SAINTS decorations in the room. They even took a picture of one of them which I am sure they will show to the other players once the get back to the practice facility. Each of the players signed a T-Shirt and a Football for Matt. The T-shirt has a fleur de lis decorated for Christmas, underneath it says I Believe. As many of you know that is very appropriate for Matt, since he does believe.
Unfortunately, I did not have my camera in the room at the time, so there will not be any pictures of either of these visits.
After the players left, Matt wrote on his white board, "That is actually one thing I have been hoping for".
Not long after they left, someone came in to do an echo cardiogram.

How exciting to meet some Saints players! They are such a good team, on and off the field! And I am sure it touched the players to see such a devoted fan in Matt.
