Sorry it has been so long between updates. Matt is still battling the effects of the pneumonia. Although, a recent x-ray does show progress in fighting the infection. The key now is to get all of this crud out of his lungs. Of course the most effective way to do this is for him to cough it up. The doctors are trying to find ways to help with this since the coughing is aggravating him so much.
Matt is scheduled to have an MRI on Thursday. This will show if the chemo is reducing the cancer any further.
Matt is still needing company at night, so John and I are rotating nights. Thankfully, we have bought a mattress pad to make sleeping here at the hospital a little more comfortable.
